Wrong Place for Sailing !

.... greetings from the Canadian Rockies, its a beautiful place, but hard to get on a boat here

I have lived in the mountains, long enough to know ......

" if you panic, you're no good to anyone "

I believe this to be true in all aspects of life, and I'm sure this rings true on a boat !

.... life is precious and short, live 'em up ! best regards CR.

David M .... I'm in Canmore, closest water would be Lake Miniwanka, towards Banff, and Ghost Reservoir towards Calgary .
Really want to get down to Caribbean again.

Re: Wrong Place for Sailing !

Welcome aboard. Hope you get to Caribbean soon! Also agree with Z, the Sea of Cortez has some good boats for sale and you would be in some awesome cruising grounds.
Cheers,
Erika

Welcome Canuck13! Come on down to the Flathead lake in Montana. There is some really good sailing here. I don't think you are that far away from us and certainly we are closer than the Caribbean. ...though not as warm.
