Hi everyone!
New to the forum, although I’ve gleaned lots of
advice and entertainment lurking through the years.
I’ve been
living aboard my
Searunner 37 tri in the winters for 12+ years, 2 of them engineless. Now I’m boatless in
New England and contemplating a change of life.
Kids are grown, and I’m on my own, so I’ve been considering building a micro camping
catamaran, around 18-20 feet, open bridgedeck, demountable. Something good for adventurously sneaking about in protected waters. I’ve designed several in my mind over the years, and one of them is ready to come out. I’ve built two dinghys in the past, so I know I want to make it as simple as possible.
Looking forward to conversing with you knowledgeable folks. Happy to answer any questions about cruising, the
Bahamas,
kids, and
plywood trimarans!
Cheers and thanks!
Lorelie
