New to the forum, although Iíve gleaned lots of advice and entertainment lurking through the years.
Iíve been living aboard
37 tri in the winters for 12+ years, 2 of them engineless. Now Iím boatless in New England
and contemplating a change of life. Kids
are grown, and Iím on my own, so Iíve been considering building a micro camping catamaran
, around 18-20 feet, open bridgedeck, demountable. Something good for adventurously sneaking about in protected waters. Iíve designed several in my mind over the years, and one of them is ready to come out. Iíve built two dinghys in the past, so I know I want to make it as simple as possible.
Looking forward to conversing with you knowledgeable folks. Happy to answer any questions about cruising, the Bahamas
, and plywood
Cheers and thanks!
