I must say the candor is quite refreshing and the breadth of knowledge impressive . Everything from what inlets to duck into in a given geographic location to mounting solar panels.
Imho Anyone even contemplating boatownership should definitely spend some time on this forum.
Hoping that you'll gain help and useful information from the forum and that benefits in helping you to achieve your plans. Also don't forget to complete your profile.
Also do feel free to post your own thoughts, questions and ideas. The forum only works when people post, and 95% of members here seem reluctant. Don't be a lurker.

I agree with you underblu. This is a great forum for many reasons. Tons of info, good conversation, politically heated debate, currentevents discussions in real time, etc., you name it. You can find it here. Heads up though you may not always like what you hear as their are LOTS of opinions here. Welcome aboard.

Re: What a great forum to learn about sailing
Welcome to CruisersForum!
I would suggest updating your profile with your general location and your boat make & model or “Looking” in the "Boat" category. This info shows up under your UserName in every post in the web view. Many questions are boat and/or location dependent and having these tidbits under your UserName saves answering those questions repeatedly. If you need help setting up your profile then click on this link: https://www.cruisersforum.com/forums...ml#post3308797
I would happily help more if the link above is not enough.
