Want to Travel the ICW from Shelby, NC

Hi,
Just signed up to this forum and hope to learn more about travelling the ICW and other related topics. I love boats, both power and sail (own one of each) and grew up on the Chesapeake Bay. I look forward to learning more from your experiences...

Welcome aboard, wynbob!

Good to have you here. I spent a lot of my youthful years on the Chesapeake as well, and eventually retired there, for a while. Exploring the ICW is a fun pastime. Hope you enjoy the Forum.

Glad to meet you. If you would like lots of info about the ICW check out the "AGLCA" American great loop cruisers association. you will be surprised how far it really goes. They have several big gatherings a year and meet in the spring in Charleston. Very nice and lots of info. Hope to start next year.
