Urbana VA November 3rd 2019 meetup

So I’m not quite new here but I’ll be in Urbana VA so if anyone is around there at that time I’d like to meet up and say hi. Pm me if you’re going to be around.

You might want to suggest meeting up down the road in Deltaville...many more cruisers down there, probably a bunch working on their boats in the yards. Urbanna is quaint and extremely small. Did they rebuild the marina there yet?

Never been to either place but if they are close together then I’m up for it. Just figured it would be a good time to meet some forum members face to face.

Urbana is a great place to meetup. There are good restaurants and a grocery within walking distance of the harbor. There is plenty of room to anchor in the harbor and there are several nice marinas. Bridge Marina just opened new docks in the spot of the former Dozier's Marina. Urbana is a gem.

Deltaville is a great place for getting work done on the boat, but access to restaurants from the marinas requires a hike or a car.

I live just across the river from Urbana, and can come over to meet at either Urbana or Deltaville.

Deltaville is a real sailor's spot

Lots of boat yards, marinas, and usually quite a few boats for sale. It's a fun place to hangout and "sight" see if you like sailboats

I think they have a sail loft/maker there also

Oops looks like my meetup fell through due to a delivery. Anyone know if you can walk the docks not owning a boat at the marina?
