This is my first post and go figure it is about women. I know how you feel I have been married three times. I am now doing what you are doing and buying a sailboat for myself.

My words of advice is to make sure you are running towards something and not away from something. Meaning, you can't escape your history but, you can alter how you deal with it. Being lonely is a true soul searching experience so take your time and soon you'll find that there are others out there going in your direction.

As for the sailboat thing........yeah..........go and impress yourself with what you can accomplish. It will make you feel wonderful.

OK boys, I'm new to the forum too, but I had to jump in here. It goes both ways you know. I've been married and divorced. First thing I did after my divorce was to go buy my own boat. I gave him our jointly owned boat, I'm nice that way:-) So when you are sailing, look for the chicks, they have the same needs you guys do, to get away, chase their dreams and find their own space. Not ditzing you, just wanted to let you know.... we're out there too :-)
