Time to relax and enjoy

Hello,

Getting ready to semi retire to San Pedro Belize and have purchased a 55' Hatteras Sportfisher there. Want to bring it up to my hometown in approx. 8 months for the White Marlin open. Looking for info, tips, guidance and advice on how to best make it from Cancun to Key West. I am a fairly experienced seaman with most of my time spent on the mid Atlantic coast, however; have also sailed Pacific, South China Sea, Phillipine Sea, Indian Ocean, Gulf of Hormuz, Straits of Malacca snd other areas adjacent to those locales. Looking forward to talking to members of this forum.

Respectfully,

Lynn A. Pomeroy

Hi Lynn,

I have no experience in that part of the world so can offer no advice.

Welcome to the forum though, and I'm sure someone will be along that DOES know and can share with you.

Nice boat by the way, and again, welcome.

John

Welcome Lynn!

Nice boat... Skippered one for a bit...

There should be plenty of regulars familiar with that route and chime in to let you know specifics of weather/time/etc...
