I have to say it seems quite expensive for a 43 year old 31ft. But it looks like its been looked after. Any fleeting opinions on it?

That is one beautiful boat. If I were considering a passage I would be all over that. The true cost of a used boat is not the asking price but how much needs to be repaired. A cheaper boat could be more expensive.
