G'day to y'all, C and I are new to the forum and are hoping to use the forum for
advice on planing our next adventure. For some background on us, we are in our late 40's and hail from Southern
Queensland in
Australia but haven't lived there for many years with the opportunity through
work to live in The Territory, Western
Queensland, Western
Australia, London,
Texas and now back in London. C' next assignment looks like being a rotational role 28 days on 28 days off in Eurasia so we are thinking of taking the opportunity of
buying a yacht in the
Mediterranean and
living aboard in his time off with a view to eventually sailing her home.
We are not complete novices as C grew up dingy
racing in the local yacht club, and we both passed the day
skipper sailing certificate in Western Australia in 2010 and owned a
Beneteau 373 for two years while in
Texas. Glad to be on board.
