The Legacy......?

Not sure where to post this and if a mod wants to move it.....so be it.

I've sailed on a few boats over the years.
I've looked at a few boats to buy! There's a surprise.
And I've had my boat for a fair amount of time.
Okay that puts the historicAl context in place.

So.....
I've sailed on "heritage" boats where the owners seem to "buy" a sense of responsiblity to the future.
Serious boats and I thank the world for these cats.

I've looked at boats to buy.
And in regards to one ( An Alden Malabar junior.....geeze I was in love with this old girl) I was told: KId you don't have the money or experience to do this. He refused to sell it to mr and it later sunk on its mooring.

Sir: all respect and you saved my life. That Boat would have killed me.

I bought my current boat from a friend....in the middle of a storm. LOL
True story.

Okay I'm handing it over!
