The dutchie

Hello people living the good life( hopefully)

29 year old dutchie who is looking around to follow the dream of liveaboard at some point.

Have been on the water for aslong i can remember. But not as liveaboard.

Hoping to find more information here, and share my knowledge.

Re: The dutchie

Hi Mark and welcome to the forum. Lots of information and lots of liveaboards here so a good place to get more information.

Just curious, what's a dutchie? Is that the same as a Nederlander?

Re: The dutchie

A dutchie is slang for a blunt used to smoke cannabis rolled in a wrapper from a Dutch masters cigar. There was also a reggae song called pass the dutchie that was a cleaned up version of pass the kouchie with all the drug references removed. A kouchie is a weed pipe. Colloquially a dutchie is another way of saying Dutchman. Google is your friend.

Ah, I'm enlightened. Always wondered what those lyrics meant but never bothered to look it up. Back a hundred years ago when I did that kind of thing I never liked that method. Ruined the flavor of good smoke.

If I had known it was all that involved I would have googled it. Then on the other hand, maybe not. Google has a habit of remembering what you search for, even after you delete your search history. Not sure I want that in my online, secret profile. I do still live in a red state.
