I have been "ghosting" around this forum for a while now and have picked up some extremely useful information and thought it was time to join and say thankyou.
To introduce myself I
work for a Marina on the South Coast of New South Wales,
Australia, pulling
boats up on the slipway three days a week.
I love my job and feel priveledged to be able to do it.
On the "Other" days of the week I
skipper a 43 Mariner Fly bridge and other "assorted" small
boats for day trips as well as doing some coastal deliveries.
I know some of you may think that after having a big beautiful sail to look up to, that I have gone over to the "Dark side" but I am enjoying the turn key experience especially since I dont have to pay the
diesel bills.
If you are anchored at a peaceful
mooring enjoying a drink at the end of the day and you see a "Gin joint" cruising towards you, I will be the one who goes past at idle with no wake because I have been on the other end of the scenario.
Hope to be able to contribute to a forum that I have enjoyed for a few months.
Regards. Shiner
PS I would still rather deliver a "Sail" boat
