Thank You All for Letting Me in
Hi All,
My name is Daniel I live in Maine, and I am a neval architect an boat builder.
Sionce I was 12 years old I never thought to do something else than messing around boat.
I use to own a shipyard in Spain, and now I am working by myself in my little camp in the middle of nowhere with my dear wife.
She does the most beautiful quilt in the world.
Thank you all
God bless you all

Greetinngs and welcome aboard the CF, Daniel.
I presume you’re the DSkira of Daniel Skira Yacht Design in Rockport, ME, and inventor of the Single-frame-curve method of designing and constructing hulls (US Patent 6564737)

Well, Daniel, you and I seem to have found this place at the same time. I've only made a few posts, but welcome aboard my friend.

Welcome to the board. I believe that you live close to Camden. That is truly beautiful country. I spent a lot of summers in decades past at Phillips Lake (on 1A between Bangor and Ellsworth) and down at Bar Harbor.
Don't thank us. We are priveleged to have one so knowledgable on the board. I have learned more from reading the posts of GordMay and some of the other experienced folks and world cruisers on the board than I ever learned from Chapmans.

Welcome.
It doesn't get much better than sailing in Maine in the summer - after the fog lifts.

Having known Daniel for some years, I can assure you, his posts will not be offensive in any manor, opinionated possibly, certainly voiced with many years of experience and expressed politely.
