Hmm, what is the question?

Where are ya speaking abroad, and why would I smile at ya?

Trying to help out here as I am from abroad, not sure I see the point or the problem....

Oh a CSN fan. Many people do not know that Paul wrote this. They could not mention him in the credits due to legal reasons w/ Jefferson Airplane. Maybe one day a could sail with David on his yacht, Music.

I believe that some other stuff written on that boat appeared on Blows Against the Empire, along with Nash and my favorite five string guy.

Since this is a musical obscurities thread <G> I'll push it further. Same vintage, the Jefferson Airplane album "Volunteers of America" came with a double-spread b&w poster of a huge black dog inside titled "Brumus".

It turns out that was Bobby Kennedy's dog, who sometimes went to Congress and waited outside the door of the building until Master was done for the day.

Newfoundlands bring the topic back to sailing, of course.<G>

IIRC the song "Triad" was on the same album and that also was a Crosby song that was deemed too radical to sing (because it is about a threesome) by any CSxx group.

Paul McCartney wrote Martha My Dear for his dog - creepy. While recording Sgt peppers someone mentioned dogs could hear high frequency sound so at the end of the album is 20s of high frequency ( un hearable to us ) noises that should drive the dog nuts.

Thanks hellosailor, now I can't quit looking for that poster.
I also had to buy "If I could Only Remember My Name".

As for Beatle Lyrics they used to throw stuff together. For The Benefit of Mr Kite may be the best known example. It was a direct rip off of a circus poster in John's house.
