Hi all. I’ve been reading so much that I feel ready to jump in and say hi.

Purchased an older 50’ Beneteau in the fall and am looking forward to getting her ship shape. Lots of questions. But wanted to say thanks for the incredible resource that all of the regular contributors have made this forum into.

We (wife and 3 young boys) live close to the Great Lakes.

actually, after thinking about this a bit more, this is the best sailing forum that I have encountered. The range of expertise and the generosity of members providing their time and knowledge is outstanding.

Completely agree. I've been boating, repairing boats, selling boats and more for 45 years and I still learn stuff on this forum almost every day.
