You may find him to be a wealth of knowledge for how he has outfitted the boat etc.

What a delightful place.
You could spend a year there and not see it all.
It's a perfect place for a small boat.
It's perfect for a big boat too....but some places can be draft restrictive
Enjoy !!

I am so very impressed by anyone who builds their own boat!
I’m a quilter, so I’m no stranger to large projects lasting hundreds of hour, but the level of complexity is so much higher for making a boat than a blanket. Someday, I might make a skin-on-frame canoe, but that’s the extent of my boatbuilding ambition.
The Pathfinder is such a beauty, isn’t she? I seriously considered contracting a
boatbuilder in the St. Michael’s area to make one for me. But after looking at every video I could find of both the Pathfinder and the NorseBoat actually sailing, I decided the NorseBoat is a better fit for me. The deciding factor ended up being how much the Pathfinder seemed to pound in chop. My Admiral would never ever sail with me again if I subjected him to that.

My husband loves horseracing and often uses that phrase.

Thank you! That’s exactly the scenario I have in mind, although someday I might just sail into
Annapolis.
