Sailing the World Beginning at 66

Charles Edward is the name I've given my Seawind Lite 1160 in honor of my deceased father who taught me to sail. It's his first and middle name.
My boat is a 38' sailing catamaran that has been constructed in Vietnam and is now atop a container ship making way towards Tampa, FL. There it will be unloaded and motored to St. Petersburg for rigging. I have started a blog: Sailor66.com and on that blog I'll have my sailing itinerary schedule. At this time, I'm planning in early December to start sailing south from St. Petersburg towards Key West. In Key West, I plan to enjoy New Year's Eve celebrations. From there I will be looking towards Cuba. I'm investigating putting my boat in a charter program in either the Bahamas, or the British Virgin Islands. If you know a charter company in either of these locations that might be looking for a performance oriented catamaran, that's also good for cruising please let me know. I also have an email peter@sailor66.com

Nice boat Peter, you should get yourself a Captain's licence and do the charters yourself. This way you can enjoy sailing her with or without paying guests! Congrats you are going to enjoy sailing that ride!
