I have recently purchased an ex demo 4.0
catamaran from the manufacturers in
France and plan on sailing the
boat to SW
Turkey where she will be kept semi permanently. I am hoping that i do not have to pay vat by exporting her out of the EU but am not sure what is required regarding registering her. Some people have advised i register her on the SSR in the UK (where i am a resident) and some have suggested Delaware in the
USA or the Channel Isles. Im really at a loss as to what is the correct answer and would really really appreciate some
advice or an experts contact details in the UK to ask. Can anyone help?
