Quick 'hello'

Hi all.

Just a quick 'hello' from the SF Bay Area. Previous boat was a Columbia 8.7, which e sailed out of East End Yacht Club, Bridgeport CT. The current boat is a 1958 Chinook 34, being completely rebuild from the bare hull!

Hello Tim, Welcome to the community. You might want to search the forum for posts by Caolan who is a member here and also owns a Chinook 34. Keep us posted of your adventures!

Re: Quick 'hello'

Thanks for the welcome .... after lurking for years (literally) it's time to join. Scimitar was a complete wreck when I got her ... delaminted ply deck, lots of rot, termites, shortened mast, no rigging or engine, it's an edless list!! I also sent Caolana a PM today, hopefully he's still around and can share some info about his boat and rig.
