Preab san ol

Hi to you all,

My name is Jan, I used to sail as a Master on coasters, mainly in European waters. Now I work ashore (to my regrets), but live aboard a small, old (1949) bunkership wich is converted to a yacht.... She's 20 mtrs in lenght. Being an inland vessel by it origins I sail mainly on inland waters, in Holland, Germany, but coastal waters, or a crossing (in fine and stable weather) to England or Sweden, does not scare me. Ever bin to Lake Vänern in Sweden? Don't hesitate! It's beautifull!

Using Opencpn makes me browsing the Cruisers Forum.....

Using Opencpn with CM93 and iENC for Duch and German waters.

If you ever need a pilot in this area, let me know!

Happy sailing!

Jan

Welcome aboard.

It sounds like a very interesting vessel. Can you post any pictures?

Welcome to the forum Jan! I must say that I concur with slomotion - a very cool boat that you have obviously kept in Bristol shape. With your wealth of experience, I am sure that we will all benefit from your imput.

Cheers!

Mark is an Aussie and he's never seen ice outside of a drink, we tend to cut him a bit of slack cos generally he's a nice guy
