Overdue Introduction

It seems we've been on the forums for a couple of months already and never got around to introduce ourselves properly - how rude of us!

So here it is: Hi all, we are a new to sailing couple currently living in Michigan. We found CF while searching for information on sailing courses and now we are addicted to forum as we have learned a ton from you all. We have already online-met a few of you and we hope to meet some of you in person in the future. We got bitten by the sailing bug this past summer and will be spending most of 2015 learning to sail through both formal courses and crewing with friends. I've been posting updates to our leaning to sail progress on this thread:

http://www.cruisersforum.com/forums/...an-135626.html

I have also written a couple of micro stories describing our experiences here (just two micro posts but will likely update as we have more experiences):

We don't have a formal sailing blog yet (or a boat) but we blog a bit about our adventures at:
tattooed buddhist travelers

our in Facebook at:

Feel free to follow us or say hi! We hope we get to meet many of you as we explore the exciting world of fixing our boat in exotic places.

Then let me be the first to welcome both of you to the forum.

Re: Overdue Introduction

I'll second the welcome.

Welcome aboard!

I like the name "Blue Buddha" and think that would make a good boat name.
