Hi there our boat is a Bavaria 35 holiday year 1998 bought it in Greece in November 2018.
Clodagh ( Irish ) and Giovanni ( Italian) started sailing in May 2019 around the Ionian Sea and we are still onboard .
We are new to sailing so expect us to be posting very soon for your precious advice.

There is an old thread here, that might interest you, it contains photographs of anchors in European Anchorages, and is called "Photographs of Anchors Setting." If you enter that in the CF Custom Google Search (under the Search menu) the whole long thread will come up.... It seems there are many anchorages with thin sand over a hard substrate, and you'll be able to see which anchors penetrate the substrate.
