Hello and greetings to all! I have been lurking for a few weeks and trying to read as much as I can.
I became a
boat owner (20ft deep-V cuddy) about 15 years ago, and fell in love with sailing while on a
liveaboard for a week after I got home from Iraq in 2009. I recently found a mentor and sailboat owner who is showing me the ropes as it were for how to sail his 27 footer in our great midwestern mud puddles.
Saving up my extra cash from the second job I
work to buy my ultimate
boat after
retirement. So thats a bit about me, I now step back into the shadows while I continue to lurk and read and learn.
