Newcomer Living in Italy but Boat in Tonga . . .

Been sailing and cruising on and off for 20 years, but what with growing kids and ageing parents we seem to have drifted in a different direction from our beloved yacht Jocara. Family is in Italy, Jocara is in Tonga, about as far away as she could be. Currently trying to earn her keep by chartering, but we may have to sail her to Hawaii or San Francisco to sell her if the new Tonga foreign boat charter bond comes into force as rumoured...

Welcome John and Caroline:

I live close to San Francisco and am buying a boat in Italy. That must be quite a trip to visit your boat in Tonga but I imagine it is worth it.
