Newbie sailing from Vancouver, BC to Dublin, Ireland.

Hi all,
I've been cycling around the world for the last 2.5 years and I was in Mexico heading towards Chile when an old friend of mine contacted me and told me that he had bought a boat in Vancouver and was sailing it back to Ireland.

My dad had boats all his life and I'm well used to being on water but to be honest being on a small fishing boat in the Irish Sea can be pretty rough at times and I'd spend most of each trip with my head over the side of the boat getting sick. But I'd probably never get an opportunity like this again so what the heck, I'll give it ago.

I've got a website that I'm writing about my trip on and there's a blog and photos on there. www.acousticmotorbike.com

Great forum BTW and who knows maybe I'll bump into some of you on the way down to Panama.

Aidan

Top Tip: there's a search tool at the top. Use it to find threads on Sea Sickness. Then take my advice and buy shiploads of Stugeron.

have a good one!

Hey - I looked at your blog. I don't believe you one bit. There is no way a leprechaun would have ever left a bag of gold at the top of your mast... D'ya think leprechauns are daft or what?
