Greetings all,
My wife and I are looking at retiring in 12 years and are considering the
liveaboard life, but have no sailing experience.
I have been looking around for a
Caribbean crewed sailboat weekly
charter to get a feel for the
liveaboard experience, but most are extremely high priced or not overnight, wrong type of experience , etc.
What I am look for specifically is:
Weekly
charter of a sailboat that would commonly be used as a liveaboard traveling
boat able to cross an ocean. (Monohull,
catamaran?)
Crewed by an experienced sailor who has tried the liveaboard life style.
Simple
meals provided by
captain. (My wife NEEDS a relaxing
vacation...lol)
Visit a couple islands, also experience sea days if possible.
All with a
budget of $2500.
A non
commercial option would be great, ideas anyone?
Thanks in advance,
Troy
