newbie

just saying hi to all, new to sailing so will not be giving advice but hoping to find plenty on here & make some new acquintances in the process.
Currently moored of West Mersea Essex East coast UK.
I have recently purchased A Dufour 2800 shallow keel upgrading from Jaguar(Catalina) 22 swing keel. Now looking to broaden my horizons next year get further a field.

A newbie upgrading to a new boat is no longer a newbie.... I would go with "less seasoned"... Congrats on your progression and welcome!

My first boat was a Catalina 22. Looks like you're upsizing a bit. Would love to see pictures.

thanks again folks guesse less seasoned is about right after last couple weeks the dufour finally back to home harbour only to be found at 45degree angle next day, Moorings owners said she was in deep water mooring, yea right she was high & dry few choice words have been exchanged thankfully I hadn't paid yet she now safe in estuary.
