New young sailor LMT Pdc bsw

Hey I'm Caitlin, 24 in massage school in the desert and longing to be at sea. As a kid my gramps would take us on his little sailboat across from Long Island to fire island. I have been trying to find the right situation to learn and get out there on the water this year but it hasn't yet happened (a little diy anarchy sailboat convergence just barely got me what I needed)
I envision learning from someone this summer or fall- I could trade my crew service. you can also pay for massage while I'm on board. I hope to get familiar enough that I buy a boat and sail the world, growing veggies by sea and living on the boat full time! Let me know if you or someone you know might be interested in paying for a masseus on board or just simply taking a complete beginner and teaching me the ways of sailing. Peace!

Welcome to the forum...So let me see if I understand this correctly. Someone will teach you to sail on their boat...for free of course and they can also pay you for a massage. Do I have that one correct?
I was also wondering what "crew services" you might know, not having any sailing experience.

Welcome Caitlin. I would gladly pay for a massage on my boat. Actually, my health insurance would gladly pay for that. Good luck in your efforts and I hope you enjoy your sojourns.
