New with wooden boat

Hallo ,
I'm Hermann , living in the north - western Part of Germany .
The River Ems is my connection to the North-Sea.
Boat is build in 1965 , Afrormosia planks on oak frames.
The wooden hull since 1972 white coated and I bought her in the spring 1979.
A lot of work was need to give her a nice look , like every Lady ! Some repair was need , lots of new frames and planks, new roofs, new Windows .....and a big repair from a collision .
But we are happy to have her. More than 30.000 nm are shown at our log ! And we hope for much more Miles.
Greetings
Hermann

"A lot of work was need to give her a nice look , like every Lady ! "

Is it entirely too sexist for me to say that I'm attracted to the ladies who do not require a lot of work, including my wife?

Welcome, Hermann. Thankfully you live far enough north that you can enjoy a beautiful wooden boat. Around here they are largely worm bait.
