Hi!

I'm from MArblehead, MA - been sailing quite a while but more focused on racing in the past. I currently have a Catalina 36 and am looking for some advice on dealing with a failed Hurth transmission - anyone have experience with replacement?

Thanks!

Howdy and Welcome Aboard CF!

Here is a list of previous discussions about Hurth Transmissions. I think you will find some good experienced comments within these threads.

If those don't answer your question, I suggest starting a new thread with details and description of your problem, using a very specific title that is focused on your transmission model, in the Engine and Propulsion Systems forum here on this site. I suggest doing so after first looking through the threads linked above.

Hope that helps. Enjoy your time on the forum.
