Hello and greetings from windy southern Alberta,
Canada. We live in Lethbridge but sail on st. Mary’s Reservoir,,just east of the Rockies. Because it’s a reservoir, we are at the mercy of
water needs of the agriculture industry. Sailing season is May - July most years and if we’re lucky, into September.
We’re using our time here to learn the basics of sailing. We bought a 15’
catamaran and enjoy our club
racing events weekly.
Our next step will be
sailing school to get certified for costal sailing and possibly
charter a
boat for a holiday trip.
We love
Mexico and the
Caribbean and would eventually like to consider wintering South on a cruiser.
Until then - I’m living vicariously through the stories of others who have gone before us.
