New to the Forums - from North Carolina

Actually found the forum when looking for Challenger information. I found a 32 but wife reminded me of promised work around the house; we had thought of taking on a project, and the Challenger definitely was one; but have backed away from the idea.

Have been sailing small craft - Erickson 23 plus Penguin racing. We have been through our share of Javelins and Sunfish. Spent a lot of time on much larger ships, but that's another chapter. Will be on a Pearson 27, hopefully, by next week - broker friend found one with a desperate seller. It is still a bit of a project, with updates, but the boat is in good shape in my opinion. My mechanic is checking out the engine and integrity in the next couple of days. Any Pearson information would be helpful. We spend most of our time on the inner-coastal and Pamlico Sound (North Carolina).

Glad to have found y'all.

Aloha Dub,
Welcome aboard! I think the older Pearsons are great boats. Hope all works out and you get a good boat at a good price.
Kind regards,
JohnL
