New to the board

Just wanted to say hi, came across this board while searching for some parts for my boat, 1985 Mirage 35. Are there any other Mirage owners out there?

Greetings, and welcome aboard TazW.
I owned a Mirage 26, about 20 years ago. Not much comparison to your 35, though.

Thank all of you for making me feel welcome...

Currently I keep the Silver Hokie off the Rappanock River on the Chesapeake Bay (Yankee Point Marina). We live in Chester,VA just outside Richmond. We have sailed to Annapolis, MD north. and Nolfolk,Va south, and many points inbetween. Getting ready to take another weeks vacation w/ the wife and sail to Mobjeck Bay to Portsmouth to Hampton Creek to Cape Charles to Fleets Baythen home.
Shes a good little boat,a little light maybe at 10,500 lbs but quick.Helps us keep up with the 40 and 42 foot Catalinas and Sabres we usually sail with.

I have found that there is a lot of useful information on this board, just have to find a better way to navigate thru all of the options to get where I need to be.

Fairwinds and following seas,
Taz W

Great cruising in that part of the Bay. I used to live on Tabbs Creek, off Fleets Bay. Enjoyed racing against some of the boats from Yankee Point Yacht Club--Stephanie, Silver Fox, and others. I was a RRYC member.

May is a good time to be out on the Bay--hope you have a good cruise!

Best regards,

Hud

Oh yeah, back in my younger days, I used to race but have given it up for the pleasures of cruising. Silver Fox, Stephenie and the rest raced today in the Spring Regatta. I had to leave early this morning as my g'daughter has her 1st dance recital tonight.
