Oh and by the way. We had two models of Rebel 16s. One was the older version with no cockpit liner. It was easier to bail once capsized than the newer one with the liner. I don't recommend capsizing them but if you do it will be harder to sail back to shore with the newer version. Either model would be a great starter boat but way too larger to use as a tender/dinghy.
