New to Sailing and This Forum

[Sailing Duder]

Hey guys, I'm a new sailor, but not new to being on the water and aspects of boating. I have minimal sailing experience, I have done some very small boat sailing just above deck small boats with just small main sails and jibs (I know nothing like what I am getting myself into with my new boat!) Just wanted to introduce myself to this forum and say thanks for all the information I know is soon to come. I am actually a 17 year old, almost 18. I have loved the water all my life and always been interested in offshore boating. I've done fresh water boating, and a 3 day sail(With a paid captain) up the Chesapeake bay on my boat, and boy did I love every minute of it. I currently own a Watkins 29 foot boat. I am blanking on the year as of now, will update it when i remember but it is mid 80's. I love the thing. Cant wait to meet some of you on here, and discuss my dream and ambitions(Most of which are probably unlikely to be happening soon, I know) I'm also very excited to work on my boat and be able to take pride in what I own.
