New to forum but not sailing

Marc here, my dad got the Coronado 25 I still have in 1968.
She has been very well taken care of.
I am a seasoned (aka old) sailor on Long Island Sound.

Branford is just east of New Haven, the saying there is you don't go sailing, you go rock hopping.
If you haven't hit a rock, you are either lying or haven't been sailing long enough!
(Yes, I have hit A rock...)

I have sailed all up and down Long Island Sound and even a little further...

Cool! Strange that I lived so close and didn't even know it was there, eh? Maybe add "Branford, CT" to your profile, then.

We have a Branford here in Ontario, too. I can never remember, though, whether it's Branford or Brantford Ontario where "The Great One" (Wayne Gretzky) is from!

As for Westport, I lived there as a five-year experiment of what it would be like to live in the States and be close to my American side of my family.

Then I took off to sail the South Pacific...

Now back home in Toronto (as reflected in my location at the top of this post).

Have sailed out of Mystic, New London, Stonington many times.
Westbrook, Guilford, Milford, Stamford, Larchmont too.

This year was a huge disappointment, I crew on a Cal 40, we were setup to do Stamford Block Island, Off Soundings (Watch Hill to Block Island) then Newport Bermuda.
All cancelled.

Have settled into a season of day sails on various boats, mine will not be launched this year...
