New To Forum

Hi,
My name is Shai, and luckily I found this found this site while checking out various sailing schools.
I currently live in New England and I am looking to purchase my first sail boat and learn to enjoy life for what it has to offer instead of the 9-5.
I having been doing a lot of research on living on a boat. I am such a recluse that my apartment could be a boat if had ocean sounds, so I think I would enjoy learning to sail and the new adventures it has to hold.
I am just turning 50, do you think this is to old to begin to learn to sail?

Shai

Re: New To Forum

Not at all shai, never too old as long as you are willing to take it step by step, and you are fit enough to haul a line or two.

Welcome to the Circus!

I am looking at boats as we speak
My friend has a great 40 foot that he is getting rid of, I think that it is way to big for me. Although I am looking at the shipping rates from mass to florida

Shai,

Welcome to C. F.

Remember,
age in but a personal index into experience...

Congratulations on learning to sail with 50 years of life experience...
