New to CF, Hello "CF Community"!

Hello,
I am new to CF, but a life long sailor with cruises throughout the Bahamas and the Caribbean. Moved to SF bay area 11 years ago, and have been sailing my I Islander Bahama 28 for the last 3 years in SF Bay almost every weekend. I don't venture out the gate much since I am usually single handing. Looking for a few small passages (jaunts) to nearby anchorages such as Half Moon Bay or Monterrey. Would like to connect with someone who has done some of these and wants to maybe help me get the lay of the land or waters...

Cheers,
David

Another singlehander in the bay! Yay. Welcome, David. There are bunches of us "bug lighters" and we like to sail to places like HMB and Drakes Bay, though often in a race because it's just more fun rafting up at the end of a fun day on the water. I'm not a lifelong sailor, so don't have all the answers (and I try hard not to make something up), but I have done both passages, each way, over the past 4 years in my boat, usually singlehanding. I can also introduce you to others, if you like What would you like to know?
