I love my Luders 33. Mainly Chesapeake
boat for now, but plan to take up to
New England and down South when time permits.
Surprisingly fast for her vintage if sailed properly, and very solid in big breeze and waves. She is pretty
tender initially because of narrow beam, but this design characteristic makes her easily driven. I experience minimal
weather helm and full control even when heeled over 35-40 degrees going upwind. This is not the case on newer designs!
Obviously a solid
boat, and a
head turner as well
Enjoy!
