Re: New To A C&C 30'

Aloha and welcome aboard!
Good to have you here.
One of the things a lot of folks don't know about their new to them boats is the cleanliness of the fuel tanks. They find out about dirty tanks when their boat does a lot of rocking and rolling and the engine sucks in something that clogs the filter and then the engine dies. If your fuel tanks are easy to look into then you can determine how clean they are.
Become familiar with fuel filters and all the places where you need to bleed the air out of the fuel system in case you need to do that while away from the dock.
Good luck on your transit.
kind regards,

Thanks for the welcome and Great advice. I plan replace the fuel filter soon I already have my spare so I'll be replacing it as soon as I order another.
I'm lucky enough to have a retired naval engineer as one of my dock mates.
I recommend everyone have one lol
