new sailboat owner (Islander 34)

Hi,

New owner of an Islander 34 (early keel).

New to the idea of cruising, but have been around sailboats and on the water with family my entire life. There is a Triton, S2 7.3 and an Islander 28 in the family at the moment aside from my Islander.

Now beginning to recondition the boat , prioritizing the safety and reliability stuff first.

Just wanted to introduce myself and the boat and say that it's been a pleasure reading these forums these past few months in preparation for the purchase.

Welcome aboard! You have quite a classic. Where are you? It looks like you may be in my neighborhood.
