new owner, BVI Tonnage Survey

Hello folks,
First time posting and I need something :/

I'm the owner of a new 2022 Leopard 53 PowerCat and discovering the hard way that getting a BVI tonnage Survey done in Florida is a bit challenging. Any of you more experienced owners/captains know any appropriately qualified Surveyors capable of doing the job?

One of the surveyors suggested asking about 'Sister Ship Survey' .. suggesting I can't be the only Leopard 53 owner registering in the BVI

thanks so much.
dave.
PS: to you sail types - please dont hate me for using iron sails

Re: new owner, BVI Tonnage Survey

Welcome.

I would suggest updating your profile with your general location and your boat make & model or “Looking” in the "Boat" category. This info shows up under your UserName in every post in the web view. Many questions are boat and/or location dependent and having these tidbits under your UserName saves answering those questions repeatedly. If you need help setting up your profile then click on this link: https://www.cruisersforum.com/forums...ml#post3308797

I would happily help more if the link above is not enough.
