New Member in the Caribbean.

Hello Everyone;
I just joined the the group to see what goes on here and to eventually find a crew member to sail across the Pacific.
I'm a solo liveaboard sailor here in the S.E. quadrant of the Caribbean, sailing the Trinidad and BVI corridor mostly, for the past 9 years.
Come November I will transit the Panama Canal and set out for Asia. In October or November I will set out of Trinidad for Bequia and then do a straight sail for Colon Panama.
If anyone has an interest in this leg of the trip or the entire trip than let me know!

Cheers all,

Patrick

Re: New Member in the Caribbean.

Hello Patrick, i second GM's welcome.

There are folks on here looking to make passages to gain sea time. When you are closer to departure put out a request for crew and I'm sure you will get plenty of help.

Re: New Member in the Caribbean.

Patrick,
I'd really recommend you try findacrew.com

I've used it twice and the response rate is unbelievable. You will get a much bigger pool of potential crew as everyone is looking to either crew, or get crew. Many are looking for unpaid crew positions.
