I am a new memeber , and though I do not own a boat,I have been sailing with friends since 1976 , mainly in the North sea area and the mediterranean area. Seemed interesting to me to be able to exchange ideas and experiences.

Greetings and Salutations Ludo....
Best fries I've ever eaten were in Ostend back in the 60's when a bunch of us sailed there from HMS Ganges near Harwich, UK.... they were DEELISH...
Even though it was 45yrs ago I can still taste them.... dunno what they were fried in but it put me of 'Brit' chips for life....
