New Member Going to Jamaica

Hi All,

I am planning on getting married in Negril, Jamaica on New Years Eve. Yes, New Years Eve. I was wondering if anyone knew anybody or may be there themselves at that time. I am interested in spending our wedding night on a boat.

Thanks,

Rick.

Re: New Member Going to Jamaica

Welcome to the forum. I'm sure a charter company could take care of that.

I have some contacts there, but the only larger sailboat I know of if a San Juan 28 in rough shape. I will probably be on the island over New Years Eve, but our sailboat is a little small for comfortable overnights.

Welcome to CF Rick!

Obviously you're headed to one of the big resorts... My suggestion would be to hook up with one of the cruising/sailing charters early in the trip... Try and get to know the skip while having a good time, and then ask him after if he knows a way ... That, or one of the resort concierge for contacts...

Re: New Member Going to Jamaica

Been to Negril several times but don't recall too many boats except those that belong to the resorts for trips to Rick's Cafe and such.

I second e-mailing the resort to tell them what you want and see if you can be accommodated.

Err Ben,

Would you care to elaborate on your post? Cryptic posts are rather frowned upon and frequently deleted.
