New Member Galaxie - Liveaboard from New Zealand
Haeri mai from New Zealand. Just spent 5 months cruising Tonga and Fiji in our Pacific 38.(Kiwi design proven offshore cruiser). All went very smoothly and what a buzz! It is infectious so it is back to NZ for some work now and we'll sail back up to Fiji next May for another season. Just an initial hello. Cheers.

Like to here about this. Have spent time cruising in our P38 for 3 years now and never got near a knockdown let alone a roll. Guess the rig went?

Hi, I wrote a piece about it a while ago, still looking for a copy. Happened in June 78 about 250 miles north of North Cape, had been lying ahull ( bad idea) in about 50kn then got a 90* shift and lots more wind, at the Cape they reported max gust of 102kn. If I find that piece I'll get it to you.
