I am a sailor and have been for many years. My wife and I are in the process of purchasing a 42 foot Marine Trader trawler. Anyone know about the boat?
Hopefully we will live on it for a few years.
We hope to sail it down to the Florida Keys this winter and back up to Canada in the spring. Is there anyone here going down south for the winter in December and coming back up in April? Any suggestions or help with books or courses to take would be helpful.

Hello, Ed. I'm in Toronto, too. I hope to get in three more weeks of decent sailing.

Re: New Member from Toronto

We ended up buying a 44 foot Viking. Will be in Key West-Nov.-Mar. Then up the inter-coastal. Anyone who will be in the area please let me know and stop by for drinks.
PS-We have to try out the new ice-maker.
