New Member from Somerset, NJ, USA

Greetings, all. I just joined this site to learn as much as I can about sailing. I haven't done much, but loved what little I did. I've never had my own sailboat.

I hope to change that soon, as my wife and I are nearing retirement age. We love vacationing and diving in the Caribean. I know some people sail there visiting the islands and I hope to do the same, if it's within our budget.

So please bare with my stupid questions as I learn more about this wonderful... hobby? sport?... no... lifestyle! That's it.

Thanks.

Will

Welcome to CF, and wish you the best. There are some tremendous people here, and the rest aint half bad, and they can tell ya pretty much ALL there is to know about boating. A wealth of info here, and if West Marine could bottle it, you can bet they'd damn sure sell it at a marked up price, but they'd have to order it first.
