Something about a canoe end that just makes a boat look sexy... I don't know why... Maybe it's the time I spend in Northern Europe as a kid and seeing all the double enders that just attracts me to that kind of boat.

Hope you can find the best boat for you. A 42 is great for a couple or family. If you are single-handing I'd go for something smaller.
