New member - Christmas boat

Hello all...My name is Ivan 'Doc' Holiday. I am looking to buy my first boat at Christmas...a coastal cruiser of some sort. I don't know anything about sailing but I hope to take lessons. Takecare

Don't be too impressed with me then. I have done a bunch of coastal cruising around here and a couple of passages as crew.

Still learning a lot.

Aloha Doc,
Welcome aboard! I recommend the book, Start Sailing Right! and you might find others in the public library. Even at that, on the water experience is better.
Kind regards,
JohnL
